The role of our Baker is pivotal in ensuring the quality and freshness of our Bakery products. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for using high-quality ingredients to craft an array of delectable offerings for our guests.

About the PositionThis is a dynamic role that requires excellent guest service skills, as well as the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. You will be part of a collaborative team focused on building lasting relationships with our customers by delivering exceptional experiences.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake a variety of products according to established recipes.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the bakery area, adhering to safety and sanitation regulations.
• Ensure accurate recording of special orders and maintain proper inventory levels.
• Assist in unloading deliveries and maintaining the efficiency of the bakery backroom, cooler, and freezer.
• Assemble baking ingredients and prepare for baking operations.
• Foster a positive and supportive team environment.

Requirements and Qualifications

• A satisfactory completion of job-specific skills assessment; 6 to 12 months experience or successful completion of the Giant Eagle Apprenticeship program.
• Prior experience working in Bakery or related industry is desired.
• No High School diploma required.
• Lifting Requirement: Up to 50 pounds.
• Age Requirement: At least 18 years of age.
