**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at MaineHealth. As a Patient Care Specialist, you will provide supportive and restorative care to resident patients under the direction of the Clinical Director and the RN Case Manager.

Salary and Benefits:

The estimated annual salary for this position is between $65,000 to $85,000 depending on experience. Job Responsibilities:

  • Administer medications and treatments according to policies, procedures, and standards of nursing practice.
  • Provide supportive and restorative care to resident patients.
  • Work closely with patients and families to build better relationships and educate them about care, treatment, and diagnosis.
  • Collaborate with the Clinical Director and RN Case Manager to ensure quality patient care.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing program required.
  • Current applicable state(s) license as a Licensed Practical Nurse required.
  • Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
  • IV certification required.
  • Valid driver's license with vehicle available for work covered by liability insurance as specified by agency policy required.
