Job Summary

This is a skilled position involving the training of Ready-Mix Mixer Drivers for the safe and efficient operation of ready-mix trucks. Deliveries will be made in both industrial and residential areas, per instruction of the Batch Plant Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities
  • Train Ready-Mix Mixer Drivers for safe and efficient operation of ready-mix trucks
  • Deliveries will be made in both industrial and residential areas, per instruction of the Batch Plant Supervisor
  • Perform minor servicing and maintenance or refer major problems to the supervisor
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and safe working environment in and around the batch plant
  • Communicate effectively with customers and appropriately represent the company
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years of Ready-Mix Driving Experience
  • Ability to operate equipment safely and efficiently
  • Good interpersonal and relationship skills
  • Ability to be a team player and role model for the company and its mission
  • Ability to communicate effectively on the radio system and use the truck tracking system correctly & efficiently
  • Valid state commercial driver's license (CDL) - Class A or B
Work Environment

Work hours will vary from 10+ hours per day, 4-6 days per week, seasonal. Travel will vary from interstate highway to rural dirt roads.
