Position Overview

Job Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be required to float between various units within their skill set, including ICU, CCU, CTICU, and Step Down. Additionally, there may be occasions to assist in holding areas such as the Emergency Department for admitted patients.

Patient Care Ratio

The patient care ratio is typically 1:1-3 for critical care and 1:4 when floated to step down.

Qualifications
  • New Jersey RN License
  • Minimum of 1.5 years of acute care experience relevant to the position
  • BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Experience with IABP or Impella devices is required
  • Familiarity with Swan Ganz catheters is highly preferred
  • Previous experience in CTICU or Medical Cardiology is advantageous
