Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Department Directors in planning, organizing, directing, coordinating, and controlling facility activities.
  • Supervise the provision of nursing care clinically and administratively.
  • Play an active role in patient placement and ensure the efficient operation of hospital operations.
  • Act as a liaison with patients, their representatives, physicians, and employees.
  • Responsible for the accomplishment of departmental responsibilities in accordance with corporate, hospital, departmental, and safety policies and procedures to meet regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • ACLS & PALS required.
  • Current nursing license, in good standing with the State licensing board.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience and one (1) year in Bariatrics preferred.
  • One (1) year of Orthopedics and Spine preferred.
  • Cognitive skills as related to the position.
