Job Overview

Main Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and organize case files to ensure easy access to current documentation for the legal team.
  • Communicate efficiently with clients, witnesses, and other parties to gather relevant information and facilitate case progress.
  • Assist in preparing for trials and hearings by organizing exhibits and managing logistical arrangements.
  • Handle the timely filing of legal documents with courts and regulatory agencies, ensuring compliance with procedural requirements.
  • Manage attorneys' schedules, track deadlines, and oversee timelines to ensure all legal requirements are met.
  • Utilize legal software and databases to enhance efficiency and streamline case management processes.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with legal research tools and Microsoft Office applications.
  • At least 5 years of paralegal experience in a law firm environment.
  • Paralegal certification is strongly preferred.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies or a related discipline.
