About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Geologist or Engineer to join our team at Geosyntec Consultants. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading technical projects, mentoring junior staff, and contributing to business development and client management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Manage challenging technical projects, leveraging your existing knowledge and experience to help Geosyntec expand its current practices and capabilities.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide technical guidance and support to junior staff, and contribute to the development of technical reports, proposals, and other written documents.
  • Business Development: Participate in business development activities, including identifying new business opportunities and developing strategies to pursue them.
  • Client Management: Manage client relationships, including communicating with clients, identifying their needs, and developing solutions to meet those needs.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering (civil, chemical, or environmental preferred) or geology. Advanced degree in the same field is preferred.
  • Experience: At least 10 years of direct environmental consulting experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Licensure: Professional registration (i.e., P.E. or P.G.) is required.
  • Skills: Excellent writing and communication skills, ability to succeed in a fast-paced consulting environment, and experience with multi-disciplinary project teams.
