Electrical Systems Engineer Opportunity

General Dynamics Electric Boat is seeking a skilled Electrical Systems Engineer to contribute to the design and development of fast attack submarine electrical systems. This role will support the design and development of electrical systems, including requirements development, ship's construction drawings, and component selection and test procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop submarine electrical systems, including requirements development and component selection
  • Work with the submarine industrial base to specify, procure, and deliver electronics equipment
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues identified by the ship's construction and test teams
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant technical degree
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret Level Clearance
  • Willingness to travel (10%)
