Atlas, a nationwide leader in civil engineering, materials testing, and geotechnical consulting services, is seeking a skilled Laboratory Technician to join its San Antonio, Texas team. As a Laboratory Technician, you will play a vital role in assisting in the movement of large bulk samples, entering and retrieving data, maintaining office files and records, operating laboratory machines, and performing other job responsibilities as assigned.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Assist in the movement of large bulk samples
- Enter and retrieve data
- Maintain office files and records
- Operate laboratory machines
- Perform other job responsibilities as assigned
**Requirements:**
- High School Graduate
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CMT lab technician
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Maintaining effective working relationships with others
- Preparing and maintaining confidential and sensitive records, files, and reports
- Perform quality assurance tests
- Ability to move up to 50lbs daily
- Use of company computers and applicable programs, applications, and systems

- Aggregate Testing Technician - Level 1
- Aggregate Testing Technician - Level 2

**Other Miscellaneous Requirements:**
- Ability to travel 10% of the time
- Ability to obtain missing certification within 6 months of hire
