Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Gastroenterology team at Essentia Health. This is a unique opportunity to work in a collaborative environment, providing high-quality patient care and promoting health and wellness.
Key Responsibilities- Provide advanced health care to patients with gastrointestinal disorders, utilizing advanced health assessment, knowledge, and decision-making skills.
- Work independently and in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care.
- Emphasize health promotion and disease prevention, caring for patients ranging in age from newborn to elderly.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account patient needs and preferences.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and optimal outcomes.
- Current licensure as a registered nurse or physician assistant in the appropriate state.
- Current certification in CPR and national certification in applicable area.
- Successful completion of Essentia Health credentialing process prior to practice.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
