Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Recreation Specialist to join our team at Semper Fit. This dynamic individual will be responsible for supporting all Warrior Athlete Readiness and Resilience (WARR) programming and services and Marine Corps Total Fitness (MCTF) strategy.

Responsibilities:

• Supports all WARR programming and services and MCTF strategy
• Performs and/or assists in the operation of assigned recreation activities
• Supervises assigned participants in indoor and outdoor activities, sets up gymnasiums and playing fields for sports events, conducts tours and field trips, prepares equipment, rosters, maintains government vehicles, creates information packets, and makes phone calls and text messages
• Demonstrates procedures common to the activities and instructs in the use of related equipment
• Conducts instructional classes in the recreational area
• Assists in planning, scheduling, and publicizing various activities to attract and motivate participants
• Provides World Class Customer Service with an emphasis on courtesy
• Assists customers and communicates positively in a friendly manner, acknowledges customers, smiles, and makes eye contact

Requirements:

• Minimum of one year in any recreational activity and one year customer service experience
• Must possess a valid driver's license

Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of $40,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Estimated Salary: $52,500 per year
