Role Summary
This position involves performing routine tasks related to the upkeep and general maintenance of facilities, buildings, and equipment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain cleanliness in work areas and respond to maintenance-related incidents.
  • Diagnose and execute basic repairs across various disciplines including electrical, carpentry, plumbing, masonry, glazing, and painting.
  • Properly dispose of waste and scrap materials.
  • Procure parts, supplies, and equipment from suppliers or storerooms.
  • Document maintenance and repair activities along with associated costs.
  • Support the maintenance department as needed.
  • Complete all required documentation accurately.
  • Adhere to 5S standards to maintain an organized work environment.
  • Comply with all Safety, Environmental, and Quality policies and procedures.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Capable of handling basic issues and referring complex problems to senior staff.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of maintenance practices.
  • 0 to 2 years of relevant experience.

Skills and Competencies

  • Ability to interpret work instructions effectively.
  • Proficient in following both written and verbal directions.
  • Basic communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Manual dexterity and physical stamina.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects.
