Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr Application Security Engineer to join our team at Resource Informatics Group. As a key member of our security team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security of our applications and infrastructure for connected services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain security solutions to remediate identified vulnerabilities
  • Conduct security assessments on applications, including static and dynamic code analysis, to identify vulnerabilities
  • Work with multiple teams to remediate identified vulnerabilities and engineer and implement solutions to meet security standards and guidelines
  • Assess and enhance the security posture of cloud-based environments, such as AWS
  • Respond to information system security incidents, including investigation of, countermeasures to, and recovery from computer-based attacks, unauthorized access, and policy breaches

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5-7 years of hands-on cyber security and application development experience
  • Strong development skills in Java and GoLang
  • Experience with AWS services and cloud security best practices
  • Experience with network security and networking technologies and with system, security, and network monitoring tools
  • Thorough understanding of the latest security principles, techniques, and protocols
