Position Overview:

The role involves professionally cleaning common areas of apartment complexes, stairwells, and preparing apartments for new residents using our specialized cleaning methods and products. As a vital team member, you will ensure outstanding customer service through consistent home cleaning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize Merry Maids cleaning products and techniques
  • Operate provided equipment, including vacuums and microfiber cloths
  • Thoroughly clean all surfaces in homes, such as fans, blinds, light fixtures, baseboards, countertops, showers, toilets, cabinets, and floors
  • Perform floor cleaning on hands and knees in kitchens and bathrooms
  • Vacuum stairs, carpets, hard surfaces, and furniture
  • Move reasonably movable furniture to clean underneath and behind
  • Transport cleaning supplies and equipment to and from the office, vehicle, and clients' homes
  • Assist in maintaining stocked supplies and equipment
  • Foster a positive work environment with a friendly attitude and contribute to team efforts, including being punctual and in uniform
  • Show respect and understanding towards colleagues and clients
Qualifications:
  • Ability to identify different cleaning products and their uses
  • Capability to read and follow cleaning instructions
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Physical ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 20 lbs.
  • Capacity to handle regular exposure to pet hair, dust, mold, mildew, and cleaning solutions
  • Ability to travel to various job sites
  • Capability to navigate stairs for extended periods
