**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities Maintenance Specialist to join The Nabo Group. This role will oversee the upkeep of our facilities, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.

About The Job:

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, addressing issues related to appliances, fixtures, and equipment, conducting preventive maintenance, and responding to emergency requests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance and Repair:
    • Perform regular checks on plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and other building systems to prevent malfunctions and identify potential issues.
    • Address and resolve problems with appliances, fixtures, and equipment to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
    • Conduct thorough inspections to detect safety hazards and take corrective action to mitigate risks.
  • Inspections and Record Keeping:
    • Regularly inspect properties to identify maintenance needs and document findings in a timely manner.
    • Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, and repairs, to track progress and inform future decisions.
  • Tenant Interaction:
    • Communicate effectively with tenants to understand their concerns and address them promptly.
    • Collaborate with property management to coordinate maintenance schedules and minimize disruptions.
  • Safety Compliance:
    • Ensure all maintenance activities are conducted in accordance with established safety protocols and regulations.
    • Identify and report any safety hazards or non-compliance issues to the relevant authorities.
  • Physical Requirements:
    • Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and working at heights, in various weather conditions.
  • Working Hours:
    • Flexible schedule to accommodate varying maintenance requirements and emergency situations.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in facilities maintenance, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with maintenance software and tools.
