Registered Nurse Director NICU III

Job Summary:

Verovian Nursing Agency is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse Director to lead a dedicated team of neonatal specialists in a Level III NICU at a leading healthcare facility in Round Rock, Texas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage the operations of a Level III NICU, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, family-centered care.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and support to a team of neonatal nurses and allied health professionals.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate policies and protocols to optimize patient outcomes and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, comprehensive care for neonatal patients.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the NICU team.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required; a Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of clinical experience in neonatal care, with at least 5 years in a leadership or management role.
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification is required.
  • Advanced knowledge of neonatal intensive care protocols and standards.
