About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Ride Control System Specialist to join our maintenance team. As an Electrical Controls Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of our ride control systems.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical and electronic controls, as well as experience working on similar systems. A valid driver's license is required, and a salary of $58-$62 per hour is offered. The position is full-time, year-round, and requires ability to work various shifts and days.

Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  • Demonstrating knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), and motor control circuits
  • Inspecting and evaluating rides for proper function
  • Maintaining and repairing ride control systems
  • Ensuring compliance with manufacturer, Cedar Fair, and state guidelines
Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • An associate degree in Electrical/Electronic repair and maintenance
  • 4-6 years of electrical controls experience, including at least 2 years working on similar electrical and electronic controls
  • A valid driver's license
