**Rehabilitation Therapist Opportunity at Goodwin Living**

We are seeking a skilled Senior Rehabilitation Therapist to join our team in Alexandria, VA.

**About the Position**

The successful candidate will assess, plan, organize, and administer rehabilitative programs to improve mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, and correct disabling conditions resulting from disease or injury.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide Physical Therapy treatments under a Physical Therapist's Plan of Care and as dictated by the Commonwealth of Virginia Occupational Therapy Practice Act.
  • Effectively communicate with residents, family members, and healthcare professionals to clarify treatment plans and progress.
  • Document treatments according to Rehab Department protocols and Medicare guidelines.
  • C coordinate resident's treatment with nursing staff, physical and speech therapists.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Education: Degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA-approved and accredited college or university.
  • Licensure: Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
  • Certification: CPR certification (adult only).
