About the Position

This occupational therapy position is available on a contract basis, requiring a commitment of 13 weeks with the possibility of extension. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and demonstrate a strong passion for delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide occupational therapy services to patients in their homes, focusing on improving functional abilities and promoting independence.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs and goals.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient progress, adhering to relevant laws and regulations.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Vermont or ability to obtain licensure within the required timeframe.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist, preferably in home health settings.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
