Job Opportunity: RF Systems Engineer

We are seeking an experienced RF Systems Engineer to join our team at Next Phase Solutions and Services, Inc. in Lorton, VA. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the optimal performance and compliance of our radio frequency systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct radio frequency analysis and provide expert advice to the Program Office on optimal performance and compliance.
  • Develop and implement spectrum supportability plans to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Review and advise on technical reports, DD 1494 Forms, and El-CID requests for spectrum certification.
  • Analyze frequency allocation requests and submit SDS spectrum systems frequency allocation applications to secure necessary approvals.
Requirements:
  • Combined experience in electrical engineering and spectrum certification is highly desirable.
  • Experience processing spectrum certification actions at a federal department level.
  • Experience with Spectrum XXI or Spectrum Certification System, and other DoD Spectrum management software.
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
  • Active Secret security clearance or inactive with ability to be reinstated.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload based on the needs of the client.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and frequent changes in priorities.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent technical writing skills and proven experience in systems with complex requirements.
  • Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills with the ability to team with others to meet project objectives.
