Position: Maintenance Helper

Overview: EMCOR Government Services is currently seeking a Maintenance Helper. This role is vital for ensuring the smooth operation of facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular evaluations of building systems to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Execute tests, inspections, and data analysis to confirm the effective operation of facility machinery.
  • Carry out minor repairs, preventive maintenance, and service requests on equipment and components within the facility.
  • Perform maintenance tasks on plumbing systems, including water supply and sanitation.
  • Manage snow removal operations.
  • Support engineering staff as needed.
  • Fulfill additional responsibilities as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in performing minor repairs and preventive maintenance on building systems.
  • Experience with snow removal tasks.
  • Ability to work various shifts as required.
  • Willingness to work weekends and overtime as necessary.
  • Commitment to safety and adherence to company policies.
  • Self-motivated and proactive in approach.

Physical Requirements:

  • This position involves significant walking, bending, kneeling, and working in challenging positions.
