We are seeking a skilled Nursing Assistant to join our team at Advocate Aurora Health. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in a clinical setting.
Key Responsibilities- Assist Registered Nurses with daily patient care tasks, including bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, and ambulation.
- Measure and document patient data, such as blood pressures, temperatures, and intake/output.
- Perform purposeful rounding and promptly communicate patient observations and concerns to Registered Nurses.
- Participate in admission, transfer, and discharge processes, including room setup and patient orientation.
- Collect and process patient specimens, and perform point-of-care testing as needed.
- Nurse Aide certification in good standing with the state registry.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
