Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Endoscopy Technician to join our team at Piedmont Eastside Medical Center. As an Endoscopy Technician, you will play a critical role in assisting physicians during endoscopic procedures and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the Endoscopy Department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians during endoscopic procedures, including complex interventional cases
  • Maintain supplies and equipment in the Endoscopy Department, ensuring they are in proper working order
  • Clean and disinfect equipment according to unit and hospital policy
  • Provide patient care to Ambulatory Care and Endoscopy patients under the direction of the Registered Nurse
  • Perform clerical duties as necessary to ensure optimal function of Ambulatory Care and Endoscopy
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Two (2) years of Endoscopy Tech experience
  • Current AHA BLS Certification
  • Preferred: Previous experience in Endoscopy, GTS Certification, AGTS Certification
