Job SummaryWe are seeking skilled and experienced roofers to join our team. As a commercial roofer with Progressive Roofing, you will work on a variety of projects across the nation, including schools, hospitals, warehouses, stadiums, churches, and military bases.
Responsibilities- Use of hand tools and equipment
- Roofing experience and ability to lift, bend, pull, and climb
- Able to work well and communicate with others
- Follow safety guidelines at all times
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites

The work environment for this position involves exposure to outside weather conditions and all types of weather for 8-12 hours. You may work in extremely hot or cold temperatures, ranging from 0-140°F.
Health and Safety ResponsibilitiesAs a commercial roofer with Progressive Roofing, you will be responsible for adhering to all safety rules and procedures. This includes reporting any accidents, near-accidents, potential hazards, or unsafe acts and conditions to your manager or supervisor.
Physical Demands- Ability to frequently lift and carry between 15-50 pounds
- Ability to twist, reach, bend, stoop, and squat frequently
- Ability to be on your feet, load trailers, and move equipment and materials
- Ability to tilt material or equipment, stack material, and roll on hand trucks
- Ability to lift material and equipment above your head
- Ability to mount and dismount lifts, trucks, or tractors
- Ability to work in a loud and noisy environment
- Ability to work in an environment with fumes, dust, dirt, smoke, gases, grease, and oils
- Ability to be aware of your surroundings due to working at high levels and with hot products
- Manual dexterity to complete projects in a craftsman fashion
- Knowledge of and ability to follow safety practices and procedures used in working on ladders and roofs
- Ability to work outside in all weather conditions year-round
