SAIC's National Intelligence Community (NIC) Business Unit, USG Mission and Information Technology Division, provides solutions and services supporting digital modernization programs in areas such as systems engineering, multi-cloud computing, cybersecurity, data science and analytics, artificial intelligence and machine learning, quantum computing, application development, SecDevOps, cloud network operations, and secure communications.

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Systems Architect to join our team and leverage their technical expertise to provide systems engineering and architecture support in the areas of architecture and standards, systems engineering integration, evaluation and testing, systems engineering implementation, and application services to a cryptologic program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze User Requirements: Develop system requirement specifications by analyzing user requirements, concept of operations (CONOPs), and high-level system architectures.
  • Develop System Requirements: Assist with the development of system requirements and functional requirements, as well as derive lower-level requirements from higher-level allocated requirements.
  • Implement Information Assurance Mechanisms: Employ basic information assurance mechanisms (e.g., identification, authentication, access control, and accountability) and security mechanism technology such as passwords, cryptography, discretionary access control, mandatory access control, hashing, key management, etc.
  • Perform Systems Engineering Activities: Assist in the preparation of work products in technical process areas associated with ISO/IEC 15288.
  • Develop System Architecture and Design Documentation: Develop system architecture and system design documentation.
  • Develop Derived Requirements: Develop derived requirements for information assurance services (confidentiality, integrity, non-repudiation).
Qualifications
  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Information Systems, or related discipline and nine (9) years or more experience; Master's degree and seven (7) years or more experience; PhD or JD and four (4) years or more experience.
  • Experience Coordinating Development Projects
  • Experience with Analysis of Design and Implementation Alternatives
  • Experience with Analysis of Functional, System, and Non-Functional Requirements
  • Architecture Experience (DoDAF)
