Primary Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care services such as grooming, bathing, catheter care, and dressing, while adhering to patient care policies. Identify and communicate any conditions that require attention.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in resident rooms, including changing bed linens and ensuring grooming supplies are stocked.
  • Assist residents with mobility and transfers, utilizing appropriate equipment and techniques.
  • Document vital signs, weights, measurements, and other relevant information as assigned.
  • Regularly reposition and turn patients to ensure comfort and prevent complications.
  • Engage residents in range of motion exercises and reality orientation as directed.
Qualifications:
  • Certification as a Nursing Assistant from the state.
  • Proficient in recording information and executing technical procedures.
  • Strong communication skills paired with patience and self-discipline.
  • Genuine compassion for elderly and disabled individuals.
  • Commitment to upholding the Patient Bill of Rights and Employee Responsibilities.
  • Adherence to safety policies and procedures set forth by the organization.
