About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Technician Mechanic II to join our team at Penske Truck Leasing. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs on our fleet of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements
  • Diagnose and repair complex issues with engines, transmissions, and other vehicle systems
  • Work independently and as part of a team to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks
  • Collaborate with other technicians to share knowledge and best practices
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest vehicle maintenance technologies and procedures
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in vehicle maintenance and repair
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or technical certification preferred
  • ASE certification and 608/609 certifications a plus
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
