Empowerment Specialist

We are seeking a compassionate Empowerment Specialist to join our team at Behavioral Health Network in Westfield. As a Peer Specialist, you will play a vital role in empowering individuals with serious mental illness to achieve their maximum potential while living in the community.

• Orient new individuals to peer support services and facilitate their participation in their recovery.
• Help individuals develop WRAP plans or other wellness and recovery strategies.
• Collaborate with colleagues as part of a supportive team, sharing knowledge and experience to assist individuals served.
• Maintain accurate and timely contact notes.

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum six months experience in human services preferred.
• A valid driver's license and vehicle available for all working hours.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain job effectiveness under changing conditions.
