Hematology and Oncology Career Opportunity

WMCHealth Network is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible hematologist/oncologist to join our esteemed medical team as an academic clinical investigator.

This position will play a pivotal role in the growth and development of our oncology research enterprise. The incumbent will collaborate with a talented team of healthcare providers in our CoC-accredited cancer program, delivering subspecialized care for patients with hematological and oncological disorders.

The role reports directly to the Section Chief of Hematology & Medical Oncology.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality patient care for individuals with hematological and oncological conditions.
  • PARTicipate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss treatment plans and strategies.
  • Develop and implement clinical trials and research studies in collaboration with other investigators.
  • Conduct educational sessions and presentations for healthcare professionals and patients on various topics related to hematology and oncology.
Requirements:
  • Board certification or eligibility in Hematology and Medical Oncology.
  • New York State medical license.
  • Academic appointment to New York Medical College faculty at a level commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Estimated Salary: $285,000-$430,000 per year
