Job Title: Labor and Delivery Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Nurse to join our team at OneStaff Medical. As a Labor and Delivery Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring a safe and successful delivery experience for mothers and their babies.

Job Summary:

This is a 13-week travel nursing assignment with 36 hours of work per week. The shift will be 12 hours, nights, and the employment type is travel. The nurse will be responsible for caring for women during labor and childbirth, monitoring the baby and the mother, coaching mothers, and assisting doctors.

Responsibilities:
  • Care for women during labor and childbirth
  • Monitor the baby and the mother
  • Coach mothers and assist doctors
  • Prepare women and their families for the stages of giving birth
  • Help patients with breastfeeding after the baby is born
Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have experience as a Labor and Delivery Nurse and a strong understanding of the skills and knowledge required for this role. The nurse will also need to be able to work independently and as part of a team, and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
