Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Recreational Therapist to join our team at Lifespan. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and developing and implementing recreational therapy programs for patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and implement recreational therapy programs for patients, including group and individual sessions.
  • Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices and industry developments through ongoing education and training.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in recreational therapy or a related field.
  • Registration with the National Therapy Certification Board (NTCB) is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
