Job Summary

Responsibilities

  • Assist with medical records, documentation, and filing as needed.
  • Obtain vital signs and urine screens, and document outcomes for medical review.
  • Complete lab requisitions and monitor outcomes with the medical team.
  • Support the admissions and consent process for clients.
  • Maintain a safe physical environment for all clients.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and document changes to client status.
  • Support prior authorization and medication ordering processes.
  • Schedule follow-up medical appointments and make external referrals as directed.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a CNA or Home Health Aide in NJ.
  • NJ Certified Medical Assistant certification.
  • Experience with drug and alcohol/mental health treatment.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and applicable laws/regs.
