Pyramid Consulting, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Security Engineer to join our team. This is a 12+ months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in White Plains, NY (Hybrid). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity, network security, and incident response.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and manage incident response programs to ensure timely and effective response to security incidents.
- Design and implement network security solutions to protect against cyber threats.
- Analyze network logs and system logs to identify security vulnerabilities and incidents.
- Conduct security assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in systems and networks.
- Implement NIST information security guidelines to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Use forensic tools to analyze data and identify security incidents.
- Experience with SIEM, EDR, IDS, and DLP technologies to detect and prevent security threats.
- Manage day-to-day aspects of privileged and confidential customer relationships.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security is integrated into all aspects of the business.
- Advanced degree in a relevant field of study, such as computer science or cybersecurity.
- Strong background in cybersecurity, network security, and incident response.
- Experience with security frameworks, such as NIST and ISO 27001.
- Knowledge of cloud infrastructure, including AWS, G-Suite, O365, and Azure.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
