Key Responsibilities
  • Support the formulation and execution of operational procedures, preventive maintenance, and lockout/tagout protocols.
  • Engage in planning downtime, outages, and specialized projects.
  • Contribute to plant organization and Lean manufacturing initiatives alongside all continuous improvement efforts.
  • Participate in "Root Cause Analysis" discussions to identify and resolve process-related challenges.
  • Engage in safety initiatives to achieve or surpass organizational objectives.
  • Actively foster a culture of professionalism within the workplace.
  • Perform additional related tasks as required.
Qualifications
  • Minimum: A high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Experience in Seamless Pipe Mill operations is highly advantageous.
  • Strong commitment to safety practices and experience.
  • Proven ability to achieve results through collaboration, technology, and process optimization.
  • Familiarity with vibration monitoring techniques is a plus.
  • General understanding of gear reducers, pumps, blowers, compressors, and other standard industrial machinery.
  • Ability to interpret mechanical schematics.
  • Ability to understand hydraulic and pneumatic diagrams.
  • Knowledge of pipe and hydraulic fitting identification (NPT, BSPT, BSPP, SAE, JIC, etc.).
  • Experience with rigging.
  • Competence in equipment removal and installation.
  • Experience with in-house equipment rebuilds.
  • Familiarity with SAP and general computer skills is preferred.
