Job Description: Senior Staff Auditor Professional

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Staff Auditor Professional to join our team at Industrial Staffing Services Inc dba Equiliem. This role is responsible for performing professional work in the conduct of complex financial, operational and management audits, including reviews of information technology systems.

About the Position:

  1. Conduct meetings with key stakeholders to facilitate audits, including but not limited to entrance and exit conferences, process walkthroughs, providing status updates, communicating exceptions and other pertinent information throughout audit projects.
  2. Monitor and review audit work of staff supervised and ensure resources are effectively deployed.
  3. Determine effective uses of audit software (or other data analysis tools) to execute projects, analyze, examine, validate, and extract data for audit assignments.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coach team members, providing timely feedback to improve work product.
  • Evaluate internal controls and processes for effectiveness and efficiency and make appropriate recommendations in alignment with BERS' vision and risk appetite.

Requirements:

  • A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college including or supplemented by 12 credits in mathematics, statistics, accounting and/or actuarial science.
  • Four years of satisfactory full-time experience implementing the provisions of a retirement plan involving the use of mathematical, statistical, actuarial or accounting computations, 18 months of which must have been in an administrative, managerial or executive capacity or supervising professionals implementing the provisions of a retirement plan involving the use of mathematical, statistical, actuarial or accounting computations.

Preferred Skills:

  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills, including experience writing and presenting audit reports, business letters, and memoranda.
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Salary: $31,200 - $31,200 per year
