Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse 1 Psychiatric to join our team at CDPC, a NYS psychiatric hospital serving over 100 adult inpatients. As a key member of our treatment team, you will be responsible for conducting nursing assessments, obtaining and recording individuals' health information, and implementing nursing care plans. Your expertise will be essential in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans
  • Administer medications and nursing procedures as prescribed
  • Monitor and record individuals' symptoms, conditions, and care
  • Collaborate with treatment teams and other healthcare disciplines to assess, plan, and implement patient care
  • Provide health education and counseling to individuals and families
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation
