Job Summary:

Prestige Care Centralia Post Acute is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our community, ensuring a comfortable and attractive environment for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and maintain resident rooms, common areas, and public restrooms, including sinks, toilets, plumbing fixtures, mirrors, and surfaces.
  • Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors on a routine basis.
  • Ensure apartments are maintained in a safe, comfortable, and attractive manner, keeping residents' personal items safe.
  • Clean spills, soiled areas, and other conditions as observed or directed.
  • Use cleaners and other hazardous materials according to product instructions and department procedure.
  • Clean exterior windows, patios, or other outside areas as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in a housekeeping or facilities role is a plus, specifically in a multi-unit environment.
  • Experience working with the senior population is helpful, specifically in a healthcare environment.
  • Must be able to perform essential job duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
