Key Responsibilities
  • Obtain high-quality diagnostic images to aid in patient diagnosis and treatment.
  • Prepare patients for diagnostic imaging exams, ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Produce x-ray films of various body parts to help diagnose medical conditions.
  • Instruct patients on proper positioning for accurate imaging.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines.
  • Deliver exceptional patient care in a professional and compassionate manner.
  • Maintain a safe work environment, adhering to national patient safety initiatives.
Requirements
  • Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology.
  • Valid state radiology registration as required by state law.
  • Two years of X-Ray Tech experience, preferably in a critical care setting.
  • Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology.
