Registered Sonographer

Position Overview

As a vital member of our healthcare team, the Sonographer plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality ultrasound imaging services. This position involves performing sonographic examinations in accordance with established protocols while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct ultrasound procedures with precision and accuracy.
• Demonstrate proficiency in various ultrasound techniques, focusing on abdominal, vascular, and retroperitoneal scans.
• Assist in minor invasive ultrasound procedures, including cyst aspirations and biopsies.
• Communicate effectively with patients, providing education about the procedures and addressing any concerns.
• Support the Ultrasound Department in maintaining workflow efficiency.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A formal education equivalent to an Associate's degree in a related field.
• Graduation from an accredited ultrasound program.
• Less than one year of relevant experience.
• Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
• ARDMS certification or eligibility, with board certification required within one year of hire.
