Job Description:

About the Position:

  • This full-time Registered Nurse position is an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive environment that prioritizes resident well-being.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct nursing care to residents, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
  • Supervise certified nursing assistants, guiding them in their daily activities to maintain a high standard of care.
  • Assess residents' health status, administering medications as prescribed by physicians and monitoring for adverse effects.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement comprehensive care plans that address residents' unique needs.
  • Promote infection control principles, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for all residents and staff.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the ongoing development of our services.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
  • Current unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the practicing state and a current CPR certification.
  • 1+ years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in geriatrics.
  • Ability to demonstrate compassion and empathy when working with residents.
