About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our inpatient rehabilitation team at Memorial Hermann Health System. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to our mission of creating healthier communities.

Job Summary

This is a part-time weekend position responsible for ensuring clinical excellence in providing comprehensive physical therapy services to patients. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrate a strong commitment to patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to identify their physical therapy needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Deliver advanced physical therapy treatments, including therapeutic exercises, modalities, and manual techniques, to promote optimal patient outcomes.
  • Motivate and instruct patients/caregivers on proper techniques and strategies to achieve maximum independence and functionality.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless coordination of care and promote a culture of collaboration and respect.
  • Supervise and mentor support staff, students, and volunteers to foster a positive and inclusive work environment.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or graduate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited university-based program.
  • Current license to practice Physical Therapy in the State of Texas or eligibility for licensure by the Physical Therapy Compact Commission.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year
