Perception Engineer

As a key member of Titan Robotics, Inc.'s perception team, we are seeking a skilled Perception Engineer to help drive the growth and success of our industrial mobile robotics division.

• Design, implement, test, and document algorithms for mobile robotic systems to safely and efficiently navigate their environment.
• Evaluate and integrate sensors to enable robot perception, leveraging classical techniques and machine learning.
• Deploy safe and effective code to laboratory, prototype, and production systems, as well as creation of software tools to support debugging, testing, and analysis.

Requirements:

• Master of Science or equivalent work experience.
• Expertise with C++ and Computer Vision.
• Understanding of Mobile Robotics, Projective Geometry, SLAM, NeRFs, and SfM.
• Familiarity with Ubuntu Linux, Git, and GitLab.
• Experience with multithreaded code and CUDA or equivalent GPU programming.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficiency using Jira to track and manage tasks.
• Proficiency using Microsoft Office.
• Experience developing for deployed systems in an industrial environment.
• Knowledge of Qt user interface design and OpenGL.

Titan Robotics, Inc. is a private small business located in the Airside Business Park with additional operations at the Pittsburgh International Airport. The candidate for this position will be primarily located at the Airside Business Park facility. Titan's operations focus on the development and production of robotic systems and equipment, and this role will be a key part of that effort.
