About the Role

Colony Pest Management is seeking a skilled Pest Control Technician to join our team. As a Pest Control Technician, you will be responsible for delivering pest management and consulting services to customers on an assigned route.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage an assigned pest control route, ensuring timely arrival at each client site.
  • Discuss scope of services provided with customers before leaving client site.
  • Recommend the most efficient pest solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Provide customers with consistent, top-notch service to meet needs.
  • Take advantage of opportunities to promote and sell company services.
  • Work cooperatively with all coworkers, customers, partners, and vendors.
  • Be available to work some weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime as needed.
  • Promptly update the PestPac Mobile platform after each service performed.
  • Provide daily detailed reports on services provided to clients as required.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent, college a plus.
  • Have or be able to pass tests to acquire NYSDEC Certifications in 7A, 7F.
  • Friendly, outgoing, professional demeanor, and appearance.
  • Experience in field/route sales/service, restaurant, food service/food manufacturing, or other related background would be a plus.
  • Experience in pest management would be a plus but is not required.
