Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Hospital Therapist to join our team at Saint Luke's Crittenton Children's Center. As a member of our unit treatment team, you will work alongside BHTs, RNs, individual therapists, and medical providers to provide trauma-informed care for youth.

Your experience and expertise will enable you to support the implementation of individualized treatment plans and provide therapy to children and adolescents in our acute psychiatric hospital.

As a Hospital Therapist, you will participate in daily treatment team meetings, collaborate on care, and function as the therapist for patients and families with the psychiatrist as clinical team leader.

We are looking for a candidate with strong knowledge of Trauma Informed Care principles and excellent verbal and written communication skills. This position requires a warm, caring approach and the ability to quickly shift priorities.

To be successful in this role, you must be a strong collaborator, skilled at building relationships, and able to work in a team atmosphere as well as autonomously.

Responsibilities:
Provides individual, group, and family therapy and case management to children and adolescents in the acute psychiatric hospital
Participates in daily treatment team meetings to collaborate on care
Functions as the therapist for patients and families with the psychiatrist as clinical team leader
Completes high-quality safety plans with patients and families
Recommends and implements general therapeutic interventions for individual clients and overall program development

Requirements:
Master's degree in Counseling or related field
Applicable experience working with children in acute settings
Strong knowledge of Trauma Informed Care principles
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work in a team atmosphere as well as autonomously
Provisional License or applicable MO license (LMSW, LPC, PLPC, LCSW) within 120 days of hire
