Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Lincolnwood Place. As a skilled care professional, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our residents, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Take and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
  • Measure and record height, weight, and fluid intake/output.
  • Recognize and report abnormal changes in body functioning to a supervisor.
  • Assist with medication reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, and other activities of daily living.
  • Transfer, position, and turn residents with care and attention.
  • Provide skin care and promote wound healing.
  • Contribute to the resident's assessment and plan of care.
  • Provide nursing rehabilitation and restorative nursing services.
  • Care for residents with dementia, using person-centered approaches.
  • Follow the schedule of resident needs set by the supervisor.
  • Provide emotional and social support to residents, promoting independence and dignity.
  • Promote and protect resident rights, ensuring informed decision-making and confidentiality.
  • Inform the supervisor of any resident issues or concerns.
  • Maintain a safe working environment, adhering to emergency procedures and protocols.
  • Attend all required training, in-service, and staff meetings.
Requirements
  • A High School Diploma or General Education Degree; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience working in a skilled, sub-acute, assisted living, or memory care setting.
  • CNA licensure if required by state.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and handle multiple tasks safely and effectively.
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
  • Dedicated, compassionate, and energetic.
  • English fluency preferred.
