Job Description

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Genomics Data Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our research group, you will be responsible for providing data analysis, integration, and development of new computational methods to analyze and integrate genome-wide datasets from transcriptome, epigenomic, and other types of functional genomics-based approaches.

You will work closely with our investigators to develop research projects, communicate results at meetings, and participate in publication and presentation of research. Your expertise in programming languages such as C++, Perl, Java, or Python, as well as your experience with bioinformatics pipelines, data management software, and statistical analysis software, will be invaluable in this role.

Estimated Salary

$85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • PhD in bioinformatics or a related field
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience
  • Expertise in UNIX/Linux operating system
  • Experience with programming languages such as C++, Perl, Java, or Python
  • Experience with bioinformatics pipelines and data management software
  • Strong background in statistics and experience with statistical analysis software
