Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Marine Risk Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our marine risk management team, you will play a critical role in supporting our underwriters and clients by conducting account reviews, addressing underwriting concerns, managing loss control activities, and providing technical support.

Key Responsibilities
* Conduct new business and account renewal reviews
* Perform warehouse/logistics security reviews
* Review cargo load, stow, discharge, and transportation plans
* Review vessel condition and valuation survey reports
* Conduct vessel vetting using desktop tools
* Review location loss control reports
* Develop risk reduction plans by reviewing loss history and making recommendations for risk improvement
* Attend client and/or broker meetings

Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Marine Transportation, Marine Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics)
* Minimum 8 years of experience in insurance loss control, marine loss adjusting & surveying, marine transportation, logistics management, or related field
* Strong analytical skills and ability to make decisions without established guidelines
* Excellent interpersonal skills and client-focused approach
* Verbal and written proficiency in English
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn proprietary software systems
