Lewiston, Idaho

Role Overview: The Warehouse Laborer is responsible for efficiently loading, unloading, and relocating materials within the facility or work site. This position demands a high level of precision and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The individual must be capable of lifting up to 60 pounds and will often work in a loud setting, with exposure to outdoor elements, flammable materials, and heavy machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Load and unload materials from trucks, pallets, trays, racks, and shelves using manual labor, forklifts, hand trucks, or electric pallet jacks as necessary.
  • Interpret work orders or follow verbal instructions to determine the materials or containers that need to be moved.
  • Securely load materials into vehicles to avoid shifting or damage during transportation.
  • Transport materials from storage areas to designated loading zones.
  • Accurately count and document the number of units handled, including any breakage or spoilage, on the appropriate forms.
  • Affix identifying tags or labels to materials or mark information on cases and other containers.
  • Organize and bundle materials, ensuring they are wrapped securely.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the warehouse and sales center offices.
  • Adhere to company uniform and safety equipment requirements.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisors as needed.
