Splunk Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Splunk Infrastructure Specialist to join our team at Delphi-US. As a key member of our IT team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing logging infrastructure to meet best practices, collaborating in architecture discussions, and promoting logging as a standard across the organization.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of various infrastructure technologies, including Unix and Windows Server configuration, storage, and data center monitoring. You will work independently without daily direct supervision, ensuring all daily checklists and work instructions are completed accurately and on time.

Required qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Information Security, Cyber Security, or related fields, or equivalent experience. Additionally, you should have 5+ years of supporting enterprise Splunk deployments and 2+ years of working on an enterprise IT team.

Responsibilities:

Design and document logging infrastructure to meet best practices
Collaborate in architecture discussions and promote logging as a standard across the organization
Work independently without daily direct supervision
Ensure all daily checklists and work instructions are completed accurately and on time

Knowledge of:
Splunk Configuration and Design for Enterprise Scale Deployments
Data analysis and reporting techniques
Unix server configuration
Windows server configuration
Network fundamentals such as IP networking configuration
Professional Licenses / Certifications (One or more, or demonstrated experience)

Splunk Enterprise Certified Architect
Splunk Enterprise Certified Admin
