Are you looking for a part-time opportunity with flexibility? IGA Market is seeking a Meat/Seafood Clerk PT to join our team

Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service and create a welcoming environment for all guests.
  • Prepare knife-ready products for sale, adhering to Floco Foods standards.
  • Assist with product receiving, inventory, and storage.
  • Price, stock, and rotate frozen items, prepared meats, and fresh meat/seafood in sales areas.
  • Maintain safety and sanitation standards in all areas that come into contact with meat/seafood and in the prep areas, coolers, freezers, and sales floor.
  • Ensure high-quality and freshness of products available for sale.
  • Communicate shrink issues and guest requests/concerns to management.
  • Make PA announcements for sale and promotional items in the meat/seafood department.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and effective selling skills.
  • Ability to work well with others and sell to guests.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. occasionally and 25 lbs. constantly.
  • Ability to bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
  • Must be able to work in a cold environment.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
